Learn more about ancient Indigenous cultures at the Mary March Provincial Museum, visit the Salmonoid Interpretation Centre where you can view salmon heading upstream to their spawning habitat and enjoy fantastic views of the falls. Walking and hiking trails are open year-round along the dramatic river cliffs at Gorge Park or through an interpreted wetland waterway system at the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail. Cross country skiers and snowshoers have 5 groomed loops to explore and a new ski lodge to relax in. The annual Mid-Winer Bivver, held in the Exploits Valley in February, is Newfoundland’s premier snowmobile and culinary festival. Birthplace of Actor Gordon Pinsent, Grand Falls-Windsor has no shortage of local talent showcased at the Queen Street Dinner Theatre, Kelley’s Pub and Barney’s Bar.

How it all started
We set up shop four years ago, in an abandoned Hershey’s chocolate factory in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Our idea was simple: here’s a remarkable plant that can be a force for good—let’s share it.
A handful of passionate people quickly grew into a community that worked together to bring this idea to life. We’re thankful to the pioneers who came before us, and to those who joined us along the way. They taught us a lot.
